PRERANA (Started in 1993)

A development-linked educational program aiming at the welfare of student of both Government and Public school
Major activities undertaken under project PRERANA : Outreach programmes: UVCT team visit schools and delivers general awareness talks on psychological concerns of adolescents and about new career opportunities.
During these programs, Problems Identification Questionnaire is also got filled up by the participants. Analysis of the data from individual students to prepare a set of suggestions based on individual problems

SHAKTI (Started in 1995)

Objectives of this project are:
To empower the dropouts and the under-achiever adolescents psychologically to make them well equipped in life skills. To motivate and reorient them toward a meaningful vocation, develop their personally and provide them guidance and support in vocational and primarily activity-based. It was started in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Various skills and value imparted are: Self Awareness , Gender Sensitivity, Interpersonal Relationship, Decision Making, Empathy, Effective Communication, Critical and Creative Thinking

Objective: To make the young people economically productive, the Trust provides training in various vocations and promotional course. More than ------- students have undergone training till now.
UVCT got invite for accreditation from the National Open School for its course in Beauty culture, Stitching & Embroidery , Typing and Word processing,
Course includes: omputer Application , Cutting & Tailoring, Handicrafts , Beauty Culture, Typewriting And Stenography, Spoken English, Life Skills Training Course In Financial.

PARIVARTAN

PARIVARTAN

Started in March 2007, the project aims to bring the delinquent children into the mainstream through ‘Life Skills Education’ education and skill up-gradation.
UVCT has been involved to augment the efforts of the juvenile justice system to install a change in the inmates by transforming their personality to a better one and by educating them in various skills which will help them outside.
UVCT has under its charge the Observation Homes for Boys (OHB) Kingsway Camp and Majnu ka Tila at New Delhi.
The Trust has become Fully engaged in bringing improvements to the ‘home’ as well as inmates.
The synergy between the trust and OHB administration has had salutary effect on the behavior of the inmates.
As specialized service the Trust provides group, individual and parents counseling service at the ‘ home’.

UMMEED (Started in 2007)

UMMEED (Started in 2007)

Launched in October 2007. Project provides financial assistance in the form of school/college fees, books & stationery and other required support to those students who are academically brilliant, but economically poor.
