WELCOME TO URIVI VIKRAM CHARITABLE TRUST (UVCT)

Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust (UVCT) is a national level non-government and non-profit Organization, with focus on the social and economic empowerment of young adults. The Trust rightly visualizes that due care must be given to the stage of ‘Adolescence’ (aged between 10 and 19 years), a period of rapid development and identity crisis in one’s growth. Founded by Dr. UNB Rao and his wife, Ms. Chaya, in 1991, with the support of 60 other professionals and well-meaning citizens, The trust was established in the fond memory of Dr. Rao’s only son, Mr. Urivi Vikram, who lost his life at a prime age of 21-22 years, in a fatal road accident in Delhi. The Rao family tried to reverse the arrow of sorrow that had hit the family unexpectedly, by working for the empowerment of adolescents and young adults.
